i thought about writing a bit about how i usually miss these events and then feel bad about not going, and, and, and… no one cares… but the agadir block party by the dolores crew (probably the most important thing that happened to the israeli skateboarding scene in the past few years) is really simple.
skateboarding, hip hop, live shows, burgers and beers. a great way to start a holiday!

time to revolt
haPussy Shel Lucy (lucy’s pussy) is no doubt one the most influential and important bands to come out of the Israeli punkrock scene. but their story and their history isn’t important for this post (as interesting as it may be, and it really is) but what’s important is that their new album kicks ass! you can hear it here, and their show a couple of nights ago was so good, musically, the vibes, the crowd, the guests, everything was perfect.
time to join the revolution!
Ouzo Bazooka
Ouzo Bazooka are releasing their second album, SIMOOM this week, so they came a few months ago to the studio with Gal Melnick’s brilliant ideas, outfits and paper plants and we had one of my most enjoyable shoots ever.

life according to Ortega
When Ortega called me to say he’s working on a new album I was excited, I knew he’s cooking up something serious. When we first started working together he was a new player in, a local rap prodigy, now he’s one of the leading rappers in the game, and in the past ten years he’s been everywhere, on every small and big stage in the country, shows abroad, television, radio, solo performances and collaborations with the biggest names in the underground as well as mainstream musicians.
this weekend he’s celebrating the release of his new album with guests in a killer show that I’m personally very excited about

night at the museum
TEDER.FM closed their 6th season with an amazing event in the Tel Aviv Museum.
The place was packed and sometimes it felt like we’re walking around in one of those huge raves in an old abandoned factory and then kinda shaking your head and realizing you’re in the museum. The event went on in several locations across the museum and all the regular galleries were open… you’d walk around, lose your friends, see some cool art, grab a beer, meet up again randomly.
The highlight of the evening was of course Kid Koala, who played in Tel Aviv for the third time and every time he came was nothing short of amazing, the music, his skills and his show. It’s always breathtaking and just tons of fun.
good job, TEDER crew! see you next season.
fountain of youth
I can’t remember when i was so excited about a show like i was a couple of nights ago when Queen Sea Big Shark from beijing came to play in ningbo.
I haven’t heard about them before, but i started to listen to their stuff a couple of weeks before they came, there was a lot of hype building up for this show and they totally delivered. They’re music is awesome and if you haven’t heard of them, i highly suggest you check them out. their website has music and other links.
and if you get a chance to see them play live, you should definitely make the effort.
we got to hang out with them a bit before the show and to party like no one’s got anything better to do on a tuesday night and it’s so refreshing to be this excited about new music.
